Twelve-year-old Molly and her younger brother, Michael, have never liked their little stepsister, Heather. Ever since their parents got married. She’s made Molly and Michael’s lives miserable. Now their parents have moved them all to the country to live in a creepy old house that used to be a church, complete with a cemetery. Heather is drawn to the deserted graveyard. Particularly to an area with a headstone of a young girl named Helen. It seems Heather has found her new best friend, but it’s someone who wants to take her away…forever.
